Rishabh Vihar and Karkardooma are, for our purposes, the same address - one clinic that families from both localities have come to treat as their local children's OT centre. We're at 143, Opposite Cross River Mall, Rishabh Vihar, Delhi - 110092, a spot most people already use as a landmark whether they're coming from the Rishabh Vihar residential side or the Karkardooma courts and metro side.

What Happens at Our Rishabh Vihar Clinic

Dr. Charu Arora sees children here for the full range of everyday-skill concerns that bring families to occupational therapy - a child who avoids playgrounds because the noise and movement of other kids is too much, one whose handwriting has become a source of daily arguments over homework, or a toddler whose milestones seem to be arriving later than an older sibling's did. Some children arrive with a formal diagnosis already in hand; many arrive with nothing more than a parent's gut feeling or a teacher's gentle flag, and that's a perfectly reasonable place to start. Assessments here focus on understanding a child's actual day-to-day functioning, not on rushing toward a label.

What We Help With at This Clinic

Families bring children to our Rishabh Vihar clinic across a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Developmental delays - where a child's motor, play, or self-help skills are noticeably behind expected milestones. See our occupational therapy for developmental delay page.
  • Gross motor and coordination difficulties - children who seem clumsier than peers, avoid sport, or struggle with balance and body awareness. Our gross motor and coordination therapy page covers this in detail.
  • School readiness - helping a child build the attention, sitting tolerance, and classroom routines needed before or during the early school years, through our school readiness therapy programme.

We also regularly see children for autism, ADHD, and sensory processing concerns - you can read more via our autism and sensory processing therapy pages.

Between a Mall and a Court Complex

Being opposite Cross River Mall means our Rishabh Vihar clinic sits along one of the busier commercial stretches in this part of East Delhi, with the Karkardooma district courts, DDA housing blocks, and Karkardooma's metro connectivity (on both the Blue and Pink lines) all within easy reach. It's a genuinely mixed catchment - families driving over after a mall errand, and families arriving straight from a courts-adjacent office or the residential lanes further into Karkardooma.

What an Assessment at This Clinic Looks Like

Your first visit starts with a detailed conversation about your child's history and your specific concerns, followed by direct observation - watching how your child plays, moves, handles a pencil, or responds to instructions in a natural, unhurried setting. From there, Dr. Charu Arora talks you through what she's observed and, where therapy is recommended, what a realistic plan could look like, in plain language rather than clinical jargon. There's no pressure to commit to a long-term programme after a single visit; many parents prefer to take the assessment findings away and decide from there.

Visiting Our Clinic

We're open 10 AM-7:30 PM for in-person appointments. If a weekly visit isn't practical, our online consultation option (9 AM-1:30 PM) lets you continue therapy and parent coaching from home - see how online occupational therapy works for details. Our other two East Delhi clinics are listed on our Centres page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Karkardooma a separate clinic from Rishabh Vihar?

No - it's one clinic at 143, Opposite Cross River Mall, Rishabh Vihar, Delhi - 110092, and families from both Rishabh Vihar and Karkardooma come here.

What should I expect at the first appointment?

A conversation-led assessment of your child's everyday skills and behaviour, not a single test or a rushed diagnosis. Our first assessment page explains the process in full.

Do you treat only children with a confirmed diagnosis?

No. We also work with children whose parents simply have a concern - see occupational therapy without a diagnosis.

Is parking or access near Cross River Mall difficult?

The clinic is directly opposite the mall on a well-known stretch, so most families find it straightforward to locate, whether arriving by car, auto, or metro via Karkardooma station.
