Professional support built around the child and family.
Dr. Charu Arora is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Special Educational Needs Consultant whose work is centred on helping children participate more confidently in everyday life. Her approach recognises that developmental needs can influence routines, play, learning, movement, self-care and family life in different ways. Support therefore begins with the child’s individual profile and the situations that matter most.
With a background in M.O.T. (Pediatrics), sensory integration and developmental therapy, Dr. Charu works with children and families through practical, individualised recommendations. The aim is not to create a generic programme but to understand strengths, challenges and participation goals in context. Depending on the child, therapy may address functional skills, sensory processing, motor planning, routines, school participation or confidence with everyday activities.
A child-centred and family-informed approach
Families know their child best. A useful therapy process therefore includes parent observations, priorities and questions. Dr. Charu discusses what is happening, why particular strategies may help and how recommendations can fit real routines. Progress is reviewed and plans can change as the child’s needs and environments change.
Delhi care and guidance across India
In-person appointments are available through our Delhi centres. Families outside Delhi can also book an online consultation to discuss concerns, reports and next steps. Online consultations are available across India from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, while in-clinic appointment preferences are scheduled separately and can extend to 7:30 PM. This hybrid model makes expert guidance accessible without treating geography as the only deciding factor.
Areas of professional focus
- Pediatric occupational therapy and everyday participation
- Sensory processing and sensory integration strategies
- Developmental and functional skills
- Autism-related developmental support
- School and routine participation
- Parent guidance and practical home strategies
Recommendations are always individualised. A consultation is an opportunity to understand the concern and discuss an appropriate next step rather than a promise that one approach will fit every child.
